Juvia is not going to be mad at Gray for leaving her. Or at Erza for not letting him tell her why. She absolutely will not slap anyone. She won’t even say a single thing to criticise them. She’ll understand that they had good reasons for doing what they did. The fandom may think that her emotions deserved some consideration in the plan (and no, it is not “Juvia’s feelings vs 30,000 innocent lives.” Sending a friend, maybe Cana, to keep Juvia company instead of letting her be abandoned by absolutely everyone would not have jeopardised the plan and could have been accomplished without mentioning the plan at all if said friend didn’t know Juvia and Gray were living together. I mean, Lucy didn’t know and she made it her business. Or Meredy, who is obviously in on it anyway if Jellal’s involved.) but Juvia won’t.

Juvia will just be overjoyed that Gray is back and safe and Erza was on his side the whole time. We know this because that was her reaction when she thought he had returned. She does not care what he’s been doing, as long as he is happy and healthy and bonus points if he’s with her.

And I really hope everyone realises that this makes her a fabulous, selfless person and NOT a dog waiting for her master to return. (She actively searched for him and was seriously concerned for his safety, not the fact that he wasn’t with her. Juvia’s dealt with being apart from him before and I’m sure that if she’d known he was alright, even if he left because he just didn’t want to be with her, she would have been happy he was happy a dealt.)

Since these two dorks almost made me cry yesterday while reading the chapters, I thought it was only nice to draw my favourite scene of their brotp in their new dresses. (I’d take it again to say that I don’t ship them together but I love their relationship a little too much. They act sibling-like and treasure each other well. I’ve been a fan of it like forever.) I seriously had an urge to have a brotp day dedicated to them. If anyone has any idea of existence of such a day, let me know. I’d be overjoyed to participate. If not, I’d be even more thrilled to declare one!
