forever looking into the (perceived) symbolism behind arendelle’s crest,  the crocus that commonly blooms between  late winter and early spring  —  that is often considered a sign of winter’s wane and spring’s arrival  . . .  personally construed as a sign that elsa’s reign as regnant was never meant to be long-standing.
#i'm of the belief that this perhaps wasn't intended to be interpreted in such a manner;#the fact that the crocus blooms in winter still can be a sign auspicious to elsa's reign after all#but the ubiquity of the crocus Everywhere in Arendelle just brought this thought to mind#especially since — having focused on elsa post f2 — i've begun to use more 'natural' imagery & motifs in writing#thus more focus on flora/fauna & the like; of course i could just be overthinking Flowers but. it's an interesting little thought#i know a lot of people? a good portion of the fandom? associate anna with summer which i think has a lot of merit too#but i personally think her more springlike. the blatant promise of life & effervescence.#idk does this even make sense#FSKDFSDF#will be around later maybe? for the promised tag revamp + drafts; disc messages will also be replied to later! i have been remiss
