EEEE thank you so much! I love this song so much. This one's a little shorter snippet from the TYIES past timeline where SKK are in their road trip era!!
373 words, fluff of bullriders skk being silly :))
After the commercial, iconic guitar instrumentals began in a crescendo. Chuuya darted his hand out to slap Dazai’s traitorous fingers from changing the radio’s channel.
“OW!” Dazai’s lower lip, his actual stupid lip, puffed out in an exaggerated pout. “What happens to ‘driver picks the music’?”
“I put up with your ass.” Chuuya leant his seat back and threw his feet on the dash, already bobbing along. “And I just paid for gas, so I deserve compensation.”
Dazai flipped his hair like a dramatic goober and relented in a put-upon sigh, “Fine.”
Thunder.
Thunder.
Chuuya was having a great time, playing air guitar and letting the hype of the song wash over him. He turns to look at Dazai again, singing along to Brian Johnson’s vocals.
“I was caught in the middle of a railroad track”
“O-M-G, cringe!” Dazai actually spelled out “omg” and was calling Chuuya cringe.
“C’mon, live a little. I know you know it. My mind raced, and I thought what could I do.”
Dazai had to roll his eyes one more time to really prove he was not a AC/DC enjoyer and clearly so much better than Chuuya for it. But when he gave in, Chuuya grinned in absolute triumph.
“And I knew there was no help, no help from you.”
Dazai’s singing voice was actually quite pretty. He matched the higher pitch of Johnson’s original key well where Chuuya dropped his lower to harmonize. Chuuya watched in delight as Dazai’s face transformed from blithe irony to genuine enjoyment as they competed on who could sing louder than the other. Dazai’s genuine smile was pretty too, but Chuuya would never admit he’d like to see it more often.
They descend into laughter towards the end of the song–Chuuya sinking deeper in his seat for greater air guitar action.
“Hah, Chuuya’s tragic dad-rock obsession strikes again. You’re getting us beers when we get to town.”
Chuuya rested his head against the seat. “Sure, but you still have to go in and buy ‘em. They always believe your fake better than mine.”
“Aw, I bet it’s cause you’re so sho-”
“So help me, I will grab that steering wheel and drive us both off the road to our fiery deaths.”

Object study for bullrider Chuuya in my au :))
After the show- a tyies drabble
Pairing: skk
CW: NSFW under the cut (MINORS DNI); semi-public sex, grinding, frottage, anal fingering, spit as lube, not edited cause I don't wanna.
There was always something about lingering adrenaline after a bull-ride. Almost all riders experience it. Most choose to blow off steam in the typical ways- hitting the bars to drink, shoot pool and maybe pick up an interested buckle bunny or two.
Before their little thing started, both him and Dazai followed suit. They still did sometimes but why bother when there were better options? It was always more intense for Chuuya, who had endless electric energy always kept at bay on a regular day.
That was how Dazai found himself in his situation, pressed flat against the inside of a janitor's closet door of the latest arena, a riled up Chuuya gently biting his under his jaw with a wolf's grin.

what are ur fav tyies!skk headcanons i miss the sillies
HELL YEA!!
♤ SKK both have differing flavors of AudHD. I've already hinted a little about it in the existing chapters with Dazai’s sensory issues and kind of? Chuuya's smoking habit.
Dazai's symptoms more sit on the autistic side. He has p strong aversions to an overabundance of noise and physical touch but animals rarely effect him like that. He's also constantly masking ofc with being this outgoing goofy guy. For ADHD it really manifested in school- he needs 10x more intellectual stimulation to focus but he also zoomed through shit with his ability to hone in on assignments with enough pressure. He ended up doing a homeschooling program so he could graduate super early.
Chuuya more has many ADHD symptoms- he's a vibrating ball of energy. He had a really hard time in school not only because of jumping around with fosters but also because he could not sit still and focus and teachers didn't like him for being too disruptive. Part of why he has a smoking problem is they ground him as a self-medicated stimulant. What crosses into the autism territory is his need for sensory seeking- spicy foods, extreme sports- all that's jazz. He also really struggles with understanding social rules really which leads him to be pretty crass.
◇ Drunk Chuuya (this one isn't super applicable to Dazai because drinking problem)- once again, constant ball of energy and now he has zero inhibitions so he always ends up doing at least one of four things: 1.running off to god knows where 2. finding and catching the nearest critter to show to his friends 3. Finding someone to boink (he is in fact a slut) 4. Picking a fight with someone
♤ Dazai is very soft with animals and kids, especially animals!! He just *gets* them more than full grown people. That's why ranching is for sure his calling. He's basically a horse whisperer and Meredith is the first filly he ever raised. I also can't wait to write the scene where he helps Oda with a complicated cow birth and has to bottle feed this frail little calf and it just like breaks him, but in the good transformative way.
Erm! I think those are the main ones living in my brain always!
Under layers of booze and breathlessness, Chuuya’s lips tasted like honeysuckle—sweet, honest, and safe. At least at this level. Dazai knew if he took too big a bite, he'd end up with a mouth full of poison. And oh, how he wanted it, wanted to drown in it with relish.
But long accuainted with rhododendron and iris, Dazai already had quite the immunity. He would gamble he could handle Chuuya.
Hopefully, Chuuya had some immunity, too.
WIP Poll Game results!! ♦️🐮♠️
Hehe I decided to write 34 sentences for the total number of votes instead of just eight.
So anyway... here's a snippet from Ch. 4 of Taming You Eight Seconds, my rodeo skk au.
The gates opened. The crowd deafened as all of Dazai’s senses tunneled. There was no denying how mesmerized Dazai was each time Chuuya got on a bull. He let everyone assume it was a product of their vicious rivalry–his attention a strategic maneuver to find new ways to land on top as both their scores climbed the board. But it was both deeper and simpler than that. Chuuya was just the most captivating bullrider Dazai has ever seen. He was both loose and controlled, flowing in way that looked like he was figuring out how to keep gravity in a chokehold. Dazai couldn’t help but to study it, to get lost in it. It should be no surprise then, that Dazai was the first to notice something was off this time. A foot below Chuuya’s boot, around the lower middle half of the bull’s belly, Chuuya’s bull rope crooked at a strange angle. Dazai squinted, trying to filter out the bull’s jerky movements so he could detect the cause. Then, suddenly there was way too much slack. The rope snapped. Just as the bull shot himself into the air, his hips and back legs six feet off the ground. With nothing left to brace himself, Chuuya was vaulted from the bull head first. Dazai gripped the metal bar in front of him, knuckles turning white. Time crawled as he watched Chuuya hurtle toward the arena’s edge right where the dirt met wall. In the air, Chuuya managed to spin, just enough that his back shoulder took the brunt of his first collision instead of his neck–right before rolling so far forward his forehead cracked against the plastic wall in front, so hard it recoiled like Chuuya’s head was attached to a spring. This time, the arena’s silence was real. All music cut, and not a soul willing to breathe until Chuuya showed a sign of life. Chuuya slapped an unsteady against the wall and the tension burst. Except it wasn’t over. Movement caught the corner of Dazai’s eye. “CHUUYA! THE BULL!” A frantic voice shouted to warn Chuuya that the bull–freed from the bull catcher–was charging toward him, horns poised to ram straight through his back. Dazai would realize only later it was his own. Chuuya whipped around and stumbled to his feet. Ever a quick one, he kept eye contact with the beast, feigned to the right to throw it off and then sprinting left in a sweeping arc. As their other teammates hopped the fence with extra lassos to intercept the bull, Dazai was already half over the fence, hand outstretched. Chuuya leapt forward, meeting him halfway. Gripping Chuuya’s hand with both hands, Dazai hauled him with all his strength over the fence. Both stood there, out of breath. Chuuya started to sway, so Dazai stepped forward letting his teammate lean against him, shoulder to chest.
Hopefully this a full draft of this Chap will be done in the next weeks so I can update soonish.
