My Akai & Kudo family headcanons
Akai is like a honorary member of the Kudo family (kinda canon guys)
Akai was a fan of Yuusaku before faking his death. He loves the Night Baron (and he's the reason why Sera had read them)
Yuusaku and Yukiko asked him to keep an eye on Conan
They also pranked him (they kidnapped him)
Conan then helped him get his revenge
Akai thought Yuusaku was the normal one in the family. (He isn't. None of them are.)
Yuusaku may have threatened Akai to test him (and because he thought it would be funny)
The Kudo house is huge and Akai found a room with torture instruments. (They were props from a show that Yukiko thought were funny so she kept them.)
The money he spends every day comes from the Kudos (even though he didn't want it at first.)(Yukiko really wanted to and then contrary to what he would have expected Yuusaku insisted as well.)
(If Conan was still Shinichi, he would have given the money to Akai himself)
Akai is always surprised by how rich this family is.
Yukiko helped him modify his car.
Yuusaku asked him if he liked Hawaii and he got the feeling it wasn't just a simple question. (After taking down the BO, they (Yuusaku, Yukiko AND Shinichi) kidnapped Akai and took him to Hawaii.)
