there isn't really any jealousy between phog and frye! phog more so looks up to frye and admires him, while frye is proud of phog as well and how he turned out!

phog is the clingy one out of the two! he's very clingy in private, but even in public he'll sometimes just nuzzle his face in the crook of your neck and hug you, startling you a little

frye is more so affectionate with words! he's the type to compliment you and just stare at you, when you're wearing something he likes! he's really not subtle about it at all–

before frye started dating you, he had a little crush on you, kinda admiring you from afar for a while, before slowly getting closer to you

he's very laidback and seems almost too chill when it comes to asking you out on a date! but he's just very good at hiding any sort of nervousness (the alcohol helps with that–)

your first date with frye – and pretty much every date following after that one – is at a bar in NLA! the two of you grab some drinks and some fast food! though occasionally frye also takes you to a pizza place for dates!

frye doesn't like super romantic stuff or anything too fancy! the only time you would ever catch him wearing a suit in one of those fancy restaurants is when he proposes to you! and even then, he might just do it in his regular bar…

frye isn't very affectionate, unless he's drunk! once he got some alcohol in him, he's clinging to you and calling you sweet names. but outside of that, he's not one for public displays of affection!

obviously if you're dating frye, you need to get along with phog too! but phog is so easy to get along with and he happily accepts you into the family! especially since you seem much more mature than his older brother–

“what's up with that, mh?” frye huffed, having remained quiet up until now, but after seeing you hug phog goodbye, he couldn't help but speak up. “since when are you two that close?”

“we've worked on a couple missions together and became friends. anything wrong with that? or… are you jealous~?” that last part was just a joke, but frye dryly laughed in response and averted his gaze.

“why would i ever be jealous of him? it's not like he's any competition to me…”

Frye is a buzzing ball of energy, just like the moray eels her family has been training for generations. She develops puppy crushes at the drop of a hat, and then losing all interest when they don’t turn out the way she imagined them. But once she latches onto a relationship, she takes it very seriously! You’ll never get bored while dating her. Frye’s displays of affection are always grandiose and overwhelming, all to show just how much she cares about you. She’s impatient at best and, perhaps, you’ll have to gently turn down her proposal two weeks into dating. 

She’s bright, and always fired up. This does mean when she burns out, she does so hard. You’ll have to stop and remind her to take care of herself. Frye is by no means stupid, simply impulsive, and occasionally you’ll have to reel her in. (Though, usually, her wildest ideas are the most fun.)

In contrast, Shiver is someone who cares very much about her image. She’s supposed to be fearsome and shark-like, no one should make her hesitate. While she often teases Frye about her latest infatuation, she’d hate to be at the receiving end. She lets her feelings fester and grow before ever acknowledging them herself, much less by anyone else. As a celebrity, she gets hit on often. Depending on her mood, she’ll either roll her eyes or play along- But it’s very rare she’s actually interested. When she does like you, and eventually admits this to herself, she ends up pulling out all the stops.
