and Gale.

So the first few interactions with NPCs always go a bit like this.

Bonus:

In my first BG3 run I couldn’t work out how to reach Karlach and then got used to having Lae’zel as my heavy hitter, so I recruited her too late & travelled with her too little to get her approval high enough for romance. Like, I TRIED at the party, and she shut me down…… so with the benefit of hindsight, in this run, I ran straight to her with romance in mind.

I.e. tabby is gay as hell and Astarion completely wastes his time trying to seduce her when there’s a flamin’ hot warrior in camp

Something for “make a terrible comic day” except I got invested in my idea and put too much work into it! However, the SPIRIT of the day I hope remains, because it’s not a comic I would’ve actually ever made otherwise. It would have just gathered dust in my mind’s eye.

This poem has always irritated me in a way that doesn’t really feel fair bc it’s such a nice sentiment and I know it’s not intended literally but, like, no, you did die, you very much did die! You’re not gentle autumn winds. You’re not rain. You’re dead. And I’m very very fearful of death and being dead, so the poet’s attempt to ease anxieties re:death failed to land and just agitated me instead. So I rewrote it about being undead.
