from since yeonsu first arrived to beonhwa, the one thing he had heard most about was the crocus holiday season - and of it, the mugunghwa gala. his mother had made quite a scene emphasizing the importance of this event, telling yeonsu that not only would he have to establish his presence before then but how he would have to maintain it through political networking as well as social grace.

and by social grace, she had meant being ready to perform any which dance the orchestra might play for that night.

now that it was finally here, yeonsu supposes that he’s happy of everyone that’s accompanying him to the actual event itself, it’s none other than yujin. because in all honesty, yeonsu wasn’t sure if he would be able to handle the last minute fretting or expectations of his mother and father telling him again what he was meant to do and how to do.

a big part of him is anxious to have the gala done and over already, and it’s apparent in the way that his fingers tap incessantly on the door rest beside him as he watches the scenery pass by while yujin sits in the driver’s seat a gap away.
