The rise of using botox, and wanting a "frozen face", in younger generation is so fucked up and sad. Botox makes it impossible to do micro-expressions, which are big part of reading other people's emotions and also connecting with your own emotions. If your muscles cannot do them, your brains and mirror neurons are lacking crucial signals.

Before realizing how common botox is, I used to think that "this character is just emotionless and cold" or "mysterious" in a weird way, because I just cannot figure out what they are thinking. The words coming out of their mouth and the expression are just not matching at all. Wrong. She just could not make her face move even if her life depended on it. (lol literally)

I am fucking sad that movies and tv shows are having a huge decline, because many actors cannot emote anymore. How to connect with characters, when the core part of how it even work is missing? I try not to blame the actors, because the real problem is the unrealistic beauty standards in TV industry. Everyone should look maximum of 30 years old even if you are actually double of that.
