and massaging Jennifer Lee’s head to make her relax because damn if that last year of production isn’t making her nerves wrack 

and then... 

Kristen doesn’t even believe what she’s seeing. Are those photo-realistic waves ANIMATED?!?

Chris and Jenn, the two directors of the movie, very proud of their baby and still utterly amazed of the CGI quality: YES, ISN’T IT AMAZING?! 

me, on the verge of tears, who saw said trailer countless times and still remember the chills I got the first time I saw it: YES KRISTEN IT’S ANIMATION!!! 

And then the trailer goes on and Kristen is just flabbergasted. She’s speechless, stunned by it, she turns to Josh Gad like “Can you believe that??!?” and he nods “Yep”, while her hands still are on Jenn’s shoulders. 

But she’s not the only one who’s emotional; Jenn herself is super touched by the trailer, even though she had seen it already at that time. 

They are slapped by it. Slapped by their years of work. Y’all, Kristen was there in the earliest hours in 2016 to talk with Jenn about where to go for the sequel. Their common project is being brought to life in the first final rendition ever in front of their eyes.
