The Frostrune checked all the right boxes for me!
K so, I got a Tumblr comment of someone saying they really enjoyed The Frostrune and when I googled it, it turned out to be a point and click, graphic adventure game. All the reviews were good. It was only $10 so I bought it, knowing full well I paid $10 for 2-4 hours of play. I LOVED ITTTTTT. I usually don’t like puzzles and I really, really liked these! It’s all about Norse myth and it also has a feeling of cultural accuracy to it for the era it’s based on. And the company that created it is Norway-based (Grimnir).
What a happy little surprise that was! Thanks to the person that told me about this game.
