Square needs to patch it so that tanks are forced to have stance up when in an instance. I just did a mhach run in which all three of them refused to put one up and the last half of Forgall was tanked by a fucking dragoon in my Alliance.
Why no stance up though...? Like at 60, all tanks should be in a stance 100% of the time now, right? At least PLD and WAR for sure.

By standards like letting an AST do all the shielding and only healing when necessary, how can anyone be the best Scholar on any server? What skill does it take to poison things and throw indom out every once in a while? Sounds to me like they're more of an Arcanist with a fairy.
A lot of âScholarsâ are just ACNs with faeries. Itâs not all of them. But itâs a lot. And that doesnât make you best SCH on the server. Same goes for ASTs who refuse to rock out of Noct Sect and WHMs who Medica II+AFK. You do that, then youâre only playing less than half your class.
Being best healer on server in general means youâre flexible at your job and can adapt/cooperate with any party situation youâre thrown into be it casual content or hardcore raid. Thatâs what makes you best. Being cooperative towards your peers both familiar and stranger to you is what makes you best as this is a co-op game. People like that AST need to just not be in PUG parties period because they donât know how to cooperate.

I really really hate chemical facility (you know the one). Everyone thinks the tanks who do massive pulls with no cooldowns are such hot shit, but nobody thinks twice about the healers who fight their hardest to keep them up.
a good healer is usually completely unnoticed by a tank or dps so its really easy for things like this to happen xx

Am I the only healer who's more than a little bothered by tanks who insist on not using their tank stance in Expert roulette the entire time? Even when they do the big pulls and things constantly peel off to hit me or the dps?
Iâm pretty sure everyone but a small percentage of healers hates that as well. I can understand switching to DPS stance after hate is established, but relying on their ânot-very-impressiveâ deeps to hold hate over their actual tank stance is the sign of a bad or lazy tank. And by lazy I mean tanks that are probably skilled but they donât care enough about what they consider âcasualâ content that they feel they have the right to not do half their job.Â
