honestly, juzo couldn’t be more thankful for the class that he was placed in. while they may not be viewed as the best of the best, he still felt that he connected with each of his classmates on levels he couldn’t with the students of class a. that didn’t mean that he wasn’t willing to try, he just simply . . . clicked with class b. 

      being stuck in such an unfavorable situation with a member of a different class wouldn’t have been the best scenario -- but he was willing to work together just the same. there was no reason they couldn’t provide a similar dynamic. though unlike what he was used to; she seemed oddly calm about it all. compared to the normal boisterous energy that followed class b, this was strange. without panic -- or excessive determination, he actually found himself able to think without interruption. 

❝ yea, that’s fine. it’s best if we don’t lose each other anyways.  ❞ reaching out into darkness for the other’s hand, it took him a few tries to realize that he’d have to try reaching lower. he didn’t consider himself necessarily to be tall -- but she was . .. short. finally locating her hand, he intertwined his fingers with her’s & immediately began to press forward. if they stood stagnant for too long, they would only be trapped in total darkness for longer. juzo could just imagine the comfort of his room already -- just waiting for him to return. even in such dangerous situations; home was the first thing that popped into mind.
