🟨~My Wonderful Zhongli Cosplay~🟪
Genshin Impact cosplays are beautiful and mystical but sometimes they can be a challenge to put on. Ask any Genshin cosplayer. They will tell you how difficult and tedious they can be; starting from where to buy/make to when you put them on.😰
So I bought my Zhongli cosplay off of Etsy from a shop owner named "SHECOS". A lot of us plus size and wide shoulder/chest people have a hard time finding Genshin cosplays that could fit. I'm gonna tell you right now, if sites like Doki Doki don't work, go with SHECOS. Yes, commissioning cosplays to your measurements can be expensive but it's better than wasting money on an outfit you don't know that will fit.
So I had them commission my outfit to my old measurements that way I can take in whatever needs fixing IE, the pants and the long drape around the waist area. The smaller pieces looks to be 3D printed and some I had to put on while I was in my outfit. That in itself was stressful cause I had to line up where they should be safety pinned in. It probably would've been easier if I marked where I could place them.😅
The earring I got from another etsy seller named "SORATRANCY". I was recommended to them by a friend cause they also bought Zhongli's earring there. I was not disappointed. You could either buy a clip on or a real earring point. I chose the real earring.
The wig, prop, and his shoes I got from "PRO COSPLAY". The prop I had to add in a small pvc inside to keep the weapon from moving. Unfortunately, the weapon was shipped without nothing placed inside to keep it together. Most people used strong tape but I wanted to go with something more stiff rather than worrying about the tape coming lose. It was a test trial with 1 inside. The next time I cosplay him, the prop will have more pvc inside just so it doesn't move around as much.
Not much explained about the wig and the shoes other than the fact that they are both beautiful and easy to wear/style. I plan on restyling the wig a bit more since the heat kinda messed it up.💇♂️ The shoes were so shiny & elegant. It felt like wearing actual dressed shoes and the site had them in my feet size so they were comfortable.👞👞
Enjoy these wonderful pics of my Zhongli cosplay. He was a lot of fun to be in but boy was it hot that day. Lemme remind you that I was wearing a binder, with 3 different layers of clothing. Zhongli, why you gotta be so extra?!🙃
