I am so out of the loop with everything but I am so glad you and the house were okay!!! x
I succeeded in live-blogging a natural disaster today (i think in a attempt to detatch myself from the situation?? only when i left the danger zone did the reality of it hit me and kinda cried the whole drive home!) thank you lovely! i'm scared to see the remains of the landscape tomorrow, but out of it new growth will occur which i think will be a beautiful to document. xox

Oh my god whaaaaaat? I hope everyone/everything is ok! x
The crazy fire that's all over the news (cherryville fire) in Adelaide started yesterday in the valley over and we were a bit scared and stressed but didn't really believe it would make it to our house, but today the winds were terrible and brought it straight to us!
This photo shows just how close it got as Max and his dad and the CFS defended it. (it's the yellow roof with the solar panels) We spent the morning raking a fire break around the house and apparently that was a HUGE advantage so I feel really good that I helped contribute to it! It was so so scary, and I wasn't even there for the real heat of it.

This is such good news <3 Im glad everyone is safe!
Eee the past 24 hours have been the most stressfull/terrifying/exhausting time i've ever experienced and whilst I am so sad about all the loss (everything surrounding the house is burnt black) I am so relieved the house and everyone involved are safe. Phew. I hope to never experience that again.
fromthegrotto answered: Oh my god, growing out an undercut is the worst thing ever. For the first time in 3 years my hair is finally the kind of same length.
I KNOW AND I REGRET EVERYTHING/nothing. Advice?
