There's so much more to #Balabac than what is currently written on blogs. They'll eventually be revealed when the communities are ready to take on more visitors. It is both a blessing and curse that most of the islands and its treasures are hidden from mass tourism. Who would have thought that there's a Japanese warship wreck in the mainland and you can just walk around it. It is unfortunate that it hasn't been protected yet. Most of the metal have been sold "por kilo", and this wreck is now home to "talaba". We're one with the community in helping preserve this area.
