TO LEAD OR NOT TO LEAD?
People often ask me how I can be a leader to some people, turn up, trust and believe in God, go to church, sin, and preach all in the same 24 hours…and its simple: Honesty. I never claim to be something I’m not, I’m a work in progress and thats ok. You have to know yourself, your mission, and your goals. My end result, at the end of every day and at the end of my life has always ended with God…Though I may stray for a minute (due to my age, personality, lack of judgment, urge to snapchat) That doesn’t mean I’ve neglected my only real purpose on earth: To Inspire people, to make them laugh, and to bring people closer to my Lord and Savior. The issue is the world makes us feel like we have to be perfect to preach, but the best testimonies come from the worst of sinners. The world makes you feel like you have to be a certain person or have a certain status to bring others to the Lord and that idea is nothing but the devil. The devil wants you to think you’re not enough, he doesn’t want you to feel comfortable spreading the gospel. You gotta open your eyes and realize every person you come in contact with is someone you can lead to a better life, not even just spiritually, but mentally, physically and emotionally. I am a leader because I choose to be, I choose to be opinionated and vocal. I choose to be unique, I choose to flaunt my intellect way more than my body, I choose to have fun, and be crazy but I also know when I’ve done enough, or too much and when I need to pull myself back in and re-focus. I’m human, thats ok. A lot of us beat ourselves up daily, and there’s no need, you don’t have to be perfect. Thats the ultimate blessing of being a child of God… We’re human, we’re flawed, He understands. Jesus Christ’s main crew was flawed, they strayed, they made mistakes, and these were the people who physically got to witness the Power of the Lord. As long as your heart is in the right place, no one is judging you on your path, and for the people who are…they are no better. From Chyna, with Love.
