i hit a really rough time in my life where i stopped drawing entirely and then i got really sick and almost died. i'm in recovery and i am back on the art swing now, but ponies have not been at the forefront of my brain... if they come back i will come back and paw through some requests

hi!! it's fine if you're new, i don't think i've ever talked about it before! g3 was around when i was a little kiddo so i grew up mostly on g3 before transitioning to g4 when it came out. so honestly, i don't know a lot about g1 & g2, other than whose designs i like!!

honestly all of these are subject to change because i just have so much love in my heart for these little ponies and there are SOOO many beautiful & fun designs and personalities to choose from... you just can't go wrong!

from g1 i really like lickety split, stripes, glory, and night glider. i also own a g1 repro of starflower the rainbow pony, and i love her so much!!

from g2 i really like wedding chapel, though honestly i don't really know a lot of g2 ponies (and because there was no animated series for g2 (afaik?) it seems like a lot of people don't! if anyone is reading this and has a favorite from g2 please let me know, i'd love to see them!)

from g3 i have got a LOT of favorites. i love love love (of course, the queen) minty (and of course wintertime minty!), fizzy pop, seaspray, sparkleworks, desert rose, all my heart, and bumblesweet. i also really like abra-ca-dabra & dream drifter! i had a TONNN of g3s when i was a kid but i suffered the same fate as many (mom got rid of all of them). slowly i am rebuilding a collection and i have seaspray, sparkleworks, and butterscotch!

i also noticed that g3 has a BUNCH of holiday ponies (mostly for xmas and valentine's day) and i'd just like to say that i really wish they made some ponies for other holidays!! (hanukkah pony, what we could've had...)

from g4 i love Basically Everyone. i especially love princess celestia, twilight sparkle, rarity, sunset shimmer, and applejack, honorable mention for trixie lulamoon. as far as BG ponies i really love candy mane, lyra heartstrings (tho tbh her design strikes me more as a toy! i'm not sure why!), roseluck, twinkleshine, and sea swirl. honestly, g4 had SO many strong designs, it's hard to pick any above the others! (notice how i picked like, twenty, haha...)

and bonus!! from g5 i really like izzy and sunny's designs. i also like zipp's a lot--i think that something about the way she's animated is really satisfying, and i really like how her fluffy dark eyelashes stand out against her white coat. and pipp is so precious too!! ah!! so hard to pick!
