HOLY SHIT FROGPOINT
Hooh, it's been a second since I checked on my BACP. For new followers since I last posted about Frogpoint, it's a retro-themed hood stuck in late 70s/early 80s California! Build-A-Community-Project!
So, recently I posted that I was not happy with my BACC hood and that I wanted to try again. I'll be using @isimchi 's rules bc they are broader allow for me to just have more fun with it LMAO. It's a BACP, P for Project, rather than challenge -- I like that :) The only rule I ignored was establishing funds for sims. I had some pretty clear ideas of what I wanted with my founding sims in terms of their socioeconomic status, so I just built the houses and THEN set funds.
Without further ado, here are the beginnings of my BACP, Frogpoint!

Since the general theme is late 70s, early 80s, I get to play with a bunch of decades CC! Maybe there will be a reason revealed that the town is stuck in that time period? Or maybe it just is that way bc it's fun lmao
It's a little urban, a little suburban, with easy access to beautiful redwood expanses, and Frogpoint's iconic beach. There are pretty defined neighborhoods, like the seedy low rent area near the bridge featuring some unsanitary super fun night life soon to come, a town center that will be full of community lots, a row of lower income row homes, a middle class neighborhood, and some elite houses way out near the graveyard and state park. There's also a secret military base (hmm i wonder what those rocks in the second pic are surrounding) with a few lots out there for vagabonds and sims who are looking to rough it. There is a hippie commune out there too! I'm still in the process of setting up, and haven't earned all my lots yet, so things are looking bare, but we'll get there!
