fish / frog tank owner experience: randomly finding a BIG trumpet snail while trimming your plants. You don't own trumpet snails. But apparently yes you do.
I mean yes I know where it comes from. When I bought my last frog there were some small snails in the bag. I put them in two tanks and never saw them again since months so I thought they died! I only recently rediscovered them in the other small tank in the kitchen. Where they are still quiet small like 0,5 cm. But the one I just found in my frog tank is 3 cm!! And I literally never saw that in the tank!! I have other big snails in there and they are easy to spot.
Thing is I put that one now in the kitchen tank as well. Cause I had to check just in case, that it's not one of the cannibalistic snails (it's not). And well what can I say.... it's gone again lol. These fuckers live in the sand / soil.....
