Well hello anyone who reads this, basically I am in a production of 'The Dead' a brilliant comedy show with Zombies galore, each day I will be sharing my experience of the day, rehearsals right through to the performances at the Edinburgh FRINGE FESTIVAL 2011. 

I am working with a brilliant Director Andy and Assistant Director Joe, and a EPIC cast. So it's day one, first the day began with meeting and greeting the cast and JUST LIKE THAT, we were all like a little FRINGE FAMILY. 

Well to begin this Fringetastic process Andy, gave us all a task to run a game to get the group READY TO MINGLE, then we got down and dirty into this masterpiece which may I also add has been written by Andy! THEN we were all chucked in at the deep end, placed in a circle and BAM was chosen and had to do a stand up comedy performance " Subway EAT FRESH...F@CK OFF" probbaly the most intense and hardest thing I have ever had to do, because lets be honest COMEDY is not easy :P but enjoyable all the same. 

Then the Zombies came out to play, each of us had to find out inner zombie, this would help us in the production, members of the public did give odd looks, I cant think why I mean it is only about 20 people attacking each other over a sausage roll :|. 

BOOK WORMS, the days penultimate task was to sit down and read this COMEDY GOLD, script. NOT GIVING ANYTHING away apart from the fact, this show is side splitting but also DARK AND SCARY at times, I play a casual physco killer from summer set (I dont think somehow I spelt that right :|) 

THEN to finish off the day we physically created some main scenes, until tomorrow when there will be more OF 'THE DEAD'

The Dead! Together, they must overcome their differences, fight for one-another and survive the undead hordes. Who will be alive when the sun rises? What will be left when they finally emerge into the light? The fate of our intrepid heroes is up to you! Is shouting an effective weapon? Where can I find a cricket bat? Should I go it alone? Is it worth saving my friends and family? What are the chances of finding an open fish & chip shop? These are the questions you must ask yourselves. Prior to each performance the audience will be asked to complete a brief 'How I would survive a Zombie Apocalypse...' form. Who will survive? Who will not? Their lives are in your hands! Live music, live performance and Interactive Zombie Entertainment are a must for this year's Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Different Zombies every night. Different paths to take.
