okay, so

first off, I'll start with some lore for the two in my version(?? idk ig I'll call it that) of the rw universe

nightcat is like, a 4th wall break on its own, knows it was scrapped

they're also a coder, which is a headcanon I got from the dev console addon art! at least I think it's dev console?? hard to remember lol

inv is like, a weird thing that just APPEARED one day and started fucking up stuff with dev console and decided to make its own extremely hard campaign just for the funnies

now, to get more in depth into the relationship stuff

inv noticed nightcat was also like itself, aware it was a thing in a game, and started pestering and following nightcat around and asking it a bunch of questions

like: "how long have you been here?" "do you enjoy being able to mess with everything?" "do you not get bored?" "does anyone else know how they got here?" "why do you always seem to be mad at me?" and at first it REALLY pissed off nightcat, but eventually they just got used to it and started asking questions back to inv like "what are you?" "how'd you get here?" stuff like that

so in summary, it starts out as a "god please go away I do not like you." from nightcat, a "hii you're like me, wanna be friends?" from inv, to a "oh hey you're pretty cool!" from nightcat and a "you're pretty cool too!" from inv

after a while it turns into a pretty friendly relationship, though sometimes they have their ups and downs (like nightcat sometimes just not being in the mood for playing around, they can generally be very moody)

inv doesn't really like being alone, and nightcat notices that, so most the time they like to go mess around with creatures just for fun to cope with the cycle being a thing >:)

so yea, inv is a little guy, can barely stand up for itself despite having GODLY POWERS HIGHER THAN ITERATORS, and likes to pester nightcat to keep themselves from going insane

and nightcat is a moody cat that just sticks around inv because they think they're actually pretty cool but just struggle severely with showing any type of affection towards other creatures

here's some lazy cursedshot art as for my schedule of art uploading, it'll probably be slower since I'm starting to lose motivation a bit :( I still don't like my art style and I don't know what to do bout' it. if you guys have any sort of tips for helping me find an art style I like, or any brush recommendations for apps I use (mostly ibis paint and procreate), then please hand them over if you'd like :)
