Chicken Fried Steak is a classic Southern comfort food featuring tender beef steaks coated in a crispy, seasoned breading and fried to perfection. It's hearty, flavorful, and sure to satisfy any craving.
Ingredients: 4 beef cube steaks. 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1 teaspoon salt. 1 teaspoon black pepper. 1 teaspoon garlic powder. 1 teaspoon paprika. 2 eggs. 1/4 cup milk. 1/2 cup vegetable oil, for frying.
Instructions: Put the flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika in a shallow dish and mix them together. Whisk the eggs and milk together in a second shallow dish. Coat each steak twice with the flour mixture. First, dip it in the egg mixture, and then coat it again with the flour mixture. Put the vegetable oil in a big skillet and heat it over medium-high heat. In hot oil, cook the steaks for about 4 to 5 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown all over. Take the steaks out of the pan and let them drain on paper towels.
