Number 29: "I love you, I'm not going to let you rot in here" (5x03)
Season five was a hard watch because it was filled with angst. That being said, there were plenty of good scenes and interesting moments. It is also the first season where the word 'love' is used. The first time either Bridget or Franky use it is when talking about the other person to someone else (Vera and Kim respectively). This scene marks the first time (on screen) that Bridget says it to Franky. It's a shame that the context is fraught - Bridget is trying to help Franky, who basically tells her not to risk her career. However, Bridget's genuine willingness to risk all for Franky is clear and in Season six we see this in glorious action.

The first episode of season four had some great scenes. Sadly, they couldn't all make this list but this one certainly had to be included. And no, it's not just because Bridget is scantily dressed! I think the joy of this episode is that it portrays them just going along in their everyday life. It's lovely to see them interacting whilst doing something mundane like their morning routine. Its made even better by the playfulness exhibited. Having lucky undies feels very Franky and the play wrestling over them is super cute. I love Bridget's accent, especially when she says "ger off," and Franky's parting line "I want my undies back you thieving minx!"
Number 25: "I could never get used to this, not after what we had" (5x10)
Once Bridget quit her job at Wentworth in 5x08 I am sure I wasn't alone in fearing that would be the last we saw of her in season five (or possibly ever). So, I was very relieved when she visited Franky in the following episode. It's a great scene too and only just missed out on the top thirty list. This scene is the second visit from episode ten and it is my favourite of the two because Bridget comes bearing a bit of good news and therefore gives hope to Franky. Due to this, Bridget is more relaxed and her body language is flirtatious. You certainly get a real sense that she isn't abandoning Franky, she just needed to get out of Wentworth for her own sanity. I love the opening exchange, when Franky comments that she could get used to being visited every day. Bridget replies "I could never get used to this, not after what we had."
Franky's season three journey mercifully ends on the happy note we were all hoping for. She exits Wentworth on parole to the honking of a car horn. Her hot girl (Bridget), is there waiting for her with a hot, poorly parked, hire car. Franky's megawatt grin when she sees Bridget, and the psychologist's returning smile is enough to lift anyone's spirits. Franky confidently closes the distance between them, grasps the back of Bridget's head and eagerly says "come here". Then goes in for their first kiss. Bridget then turns them so Franky is against the Porsche and they kiss again, both smiling into the kiss.
The scene is short and uplifting. The background music ('home' by daughter) works perfectly in the background to help build the moment. After three seasons of teal, it's great to see Franky in civies and we all went mushy over Bridget's leather coat!
Honestly, I could watch the scene over and over again. Yet, due to its shortness and lack of dialogue I can't justify it going too high up the list.
Welcome to my masterpost for my top thirty Bridget and Franky scenes from the hit show Wentworth. I will keep adding the links to the list as I post a new scene each day.

Although I have decided to post this on my main blog, I also have a specific Franky and Bridget blog on tumblr called Frankyiswestfallin. I will be reblogging all the posts there. I therefore apologise if you follow both, as you will be seeing double of everything.
Authors Note 2: What Fridget means to me
I started watching Wentworth way back in season one, although being British, slightly after it had aired in Australia. I really got into it and initially I started shipping Franky and Erica but by the end of the season I had cooled on them due to the lengthy slotting and all the creepy camera watching Erica was doing. I still thought they could do something in season two to reverse that damage but then they wrote Erica out and that was that. It did make me realise that it wasn't the sort of show where you could expect happy endings and that I shouldn't get too attached to any character or ship. At the time I had loads of characters I really liked (e.g. Franky, Liz and Bea) with no outright favourite.
By the time season three came around I was very invested. I set my alarm at stupid o'clock in the morning and illegally streamed it. By the end of the first episode I was in love with Bridget's character. So, when episode three rolled around and the Franky/Bridget dynamic was introduced I was immediately interested but determined not to get invested. Of course, if you are having to try not to be invested then in truth, you already are. By the end of episode seven I had given up all hope of fighting it and was very much a passionate shipper. From that point onwards I was on the rollercoaster, for the highs and the lows, until their final scene in season six
It's rare in any televised sapphic ship that we get a happy ending. At the time Wentworth aired most pairing came to an end due to the death of one of the characters. I am sure none of us miss the days of the 'kill your gays' trope. Not that Wentworth is without blame in this regard, as the Ballie (Bea and Allie) fans will attest to. So, it's refreshing that Fridget escaped out with their happy ending in season three, when Nicole was meant to be leaving the show. It was even more miraculous that after she stayed on for longer, they achieved a second happy ending. How many fans of fictional relationships get so lucky?
There have been loads of ships I have loved over the years but it's been the one ship that I have never lost interest in. I returned to the videos of their scenes time and time again. I suppose you would say they were my OTP or my happy place. Then, after Christmas, I decided to do a full Wentworth rewatch. That rewatch is what led me to decide to make some Fridget posts.
I initially was going to do a top ten scenes, but it felt like I would have to miss out on too many great scenes. Somehow it extended to a top thirty. Even now, there are scenes that didn't make it that I absolutely love. Perhaps that sums up why I love them so much - there is a lot of quality and depth to the interactions. I am perhaps indifferent to a couple of scenes, ones that include both of them but are more about other storylines than theirs. Yet, there is only really one scene I actively dislike. I doubt I am alone in this as it's the horrible moment from season five's third episode when Franky totally loses her head. I find it way too uncomfortable to watch and as a Bridget fan, my heart breaks for her.
So, this is my top thirty scenes. I am sure some of the top five or ten scenes will be similar for many people although in a slightly different order. Outside of that group it will differ more dramatically from other peoples and I hope everyone respects those differences of opinions.
