I love the extra detail here compared to the Anime too how Theresia noted Thames was not going to do anything to hurt her and she was hoping he’d soundly beat her and that’d end this all but she just blinks and suddenly Thames is defeated by her. It really shows the subject of auto any with regards to autonomy holding this DP being tenuous.
The part of this that was the absolute worst though was 100% Theresia tugging away at her hair, going all feral, screaming and even having the narration describe her as “half mad” when describing her becoming the Sword Saint. The Anime toned down her feelings so much my goodness.
