Material: 98% Cotton, 2% Elastane, and it feels like it - almost but slightly not quite like pure cotton. There's definitely a slight stretch holding the material together, and a small cooling effect. Aesthetic: Single color, slight texturing, no waistband - they went for simplicity here, and the effect was well-executed! Nothing here greatly grabs your attention, but it's a big enough cut to give a somewhat slimming effect, and the pouch will get your attention with the lack of anything else doing so. Waistband: Not really there! I mean, it is, but it's wrapped in more of the general fabric itself, which is pretty nice. Interestingly, even though I got two noticeably different sizes for this design, (they didn't have M available when I ordered but I really wanted to try this design,) there was almost no difference in how tight the waistband felt. The difference in size made itself more known in the backside than in the waistband.

Pouch: Again, very simple, but effective as such! Kinda flat, but can countour enough to give a good bulge if you wear your willie downward. Definitely comfortable; like many of the pairs I've reviewed, the pouch has a double layer of fabric, in contrast to the single layer through most of the pair. Backside: Just a plain expanse of fabric - so it's comfortable enough, though not a ton to look at, although you can see the texturing of the fabric. The contrast between the L and the S makes itself obvoius here (and not the waistband, interestingly) with how that "expanse" stretches over your ass (or not). You can see that the L navy pair covers my whole ass fairly well, while the S white pair is very clearly stretched tight over my cheeks, and the back of the waistband comes up lower; it's meant to be "full coverage", but it's having trouble doing so... So it all really depends on the look or feel you want to have, whether you pick S, M, or L with this pair. The "tag" is just printed on the insde of the back, as you can kinda see in the pics below. Not something to worry about! Unless you happen to get sweaty for whatever reason.
