French Fried Mashed Potatoes are a tasty variation on regular mashed potatoes. They have the creamy goodness of mashed potatoes and the crunchy texture of French fries. It's great as a snack or side dish.
Ingredients: 4 large potatoes. 1/4 cup flour. 1 teaspoon garlic powder. 1 teaspoon onion powder. 1/2 teaspoon paprika. Salt and pepper to taste. Oil for frying.
Instructions: Peel and boil potatoes until soft. Mash them thoroughly. In a shallow dish, mix flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Form mashed potatoes into small balls, then coat them evenly in the flour mixture. Carefully place coated mashed potato balls into the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
