So we all know that Wyoming's accent is Like That (read: a little inconsistent, occasionally even slightly Australian once or twice in s3/s5).
Consider: he isn’t English/does not come from somewhere that has developed/maintained what we would perceive as an “English accent.” Because y’know, Caboose sounds American despite being from a moon somewhere, or whatever, people are from non-Earth places. Regardless, consider Wyoming having a background that, by all accounts, dictates he should not have developed that accent at all.
But consider that he’s also not intentionally faking it. What if prior to the Project, he sustained a head injury which caused foreign accent syndrome?
