“The way to walk in FREEDOM is to SURRENDER Control.” Like the majority of people on this planet, I too have and still struggle with giving up CONTROL. I mean it’s so freaking hard to surrender because it makes us vulnerable and the uncertainty that comes with being vulnerable is unsettling for most of us. Personally, it’s a lot easier for me to take the wheel so I can steer it however I want to. And that applies to my marriage, my family, my career and everything in between. But the hard truth is being a control freak is often disappointing because no one knows what the future holds, and things don’t always go the way we want them to. And that’s where walking by FAITH comes in. It gives us the privilege of giving up our control and letting God take the wheel because He certainly knows what’s best for us. Moreover, He knows and holds the future. So it’s better for me to lay my burdens down and hand the load over to the One who can handle it all and in turn make everything work out for my good. PS.
