Special chapter
---------------------
You are in the process of making diamond armor, with Verity standing right beside you, simply watching. ThatMob is rummaging through your chest, apparently searching for a potion of strength. Before you can ask him why he's after such a potion, you hear a knock at the door and turn around to face it. ThatMob also shifts his gaze towards the door.
"Is there a zombie outside?" Verity peers over and warns seriously, "Don't open the door." ThatMob then turns fully toward Verity. "I'll go check," he says, staring at Verity. Giving Verity a bright smile, ThatMob begins to walk toward the door, which he then opens, only to glance down and see a box-the same kind Verity arrived in.
Without warning, ThatMob quickly shuts the door. He then slowly turns back to you, nervously saying, "Don't open the door." Verity rolls his eyes at ThatMob's reaction. Ignoring the commotion, you go back to what you were doing, noticing that your supply of diamonds has run out. It looks like you'll need to go mining again. Stepping away from your crafting table, you grab a nearby pickaxe from your chest and prepare to head out.
You turn to ThatMob and ask, "Do you have any diamonds?" ThatMob looks at you and replies, "No, I don't have any diamonds. I only have iron." Frustrated, you turn away from him. "The one time I wish you weren't broke." ThatMob quickly shifts his gaze to you and says, "I'm not broke." You face him again and remark flatly, "You're wearing leather armor right now, by the way, and half of it is broken."
He scoffs, turning away. "Why can't I enjoy leather armor anymore? Now I see what kind of person you really are." You blink at him in silence, ignoring his comments. Turning to Verity before asking your next question, a loud banging hits the door. Surprised, you draw your iron sword and start heading toward it.
Before ThatMob and Verity can stop you, you open the door. There's a box sitting outside, with a sticker on top that reads, "Open this box if you want unlimited diamonds." Honestly, who would fall for such a trick? Despite their warnings not to bring the box inside or open it, you pick it up and bring it into the house, closing the door behind you.
Placing it down in the middle of the house, Verity quickly hops off the crafting table and rolls his body toward you. "You shouldn't open the box," he warns. ThatMob approaches, adding, "For once, I agree with Verity - don't open that box; it could be a scam." You sit in front of the box and say, with a straight face, "But I won limited diamonds." ThatMob looks at you judgmentally, saying, "Then go mining, you lazy ass".
You turn to ThatMob, grumbling, "I don't want to go mining - it takes forever." As you start arguing, neither of you notices the lid of the box lifting on its own. Suddenly, you and ThatMob hear a noise behind you-both of you turn your heads toward the sound, startled.
To your surprise, there's another Verity. Both of you stare, wide-eyed, as the realization sinks in. ThatMob is the first to break the silence, exclaiming, "Oh hell no, it's already enough with one-I can't believe there's another!"
He clutches his head in disbelief, fingers digging into his scalp as if trying to make sense of the impossible. Verity glances at both of you and says, "Can't you tell the difference? I'm obviously the original."
The freaky Verity rolled over to you, "Come on [Name], you know it's me, your friend ". He says in a persuasive voice, looking down at freaky Verity, you wonder if it's your Verity. Reaching out your hand towards freaky Verity, you're quickly stopped by Verity.
Pusheen unexpectedly freaky Verity, shoving him forcefully and sending him crashing through the nearby window with a shattering sound. You were caught off guard by the suddenness, and ThatMob was genuinely stunned, staring blankly at the chaotic scene unfolding before him.
"What the hell is going on?" he exclaimed amidst the confusion. Verity slowly turned to face you, his eyes sad and tired. "You can't tell us apart," he said softly, voice tinged with a hint of sadness.
You looked away from Verity, your face covered in sweat from the stress and shock of the situation. After a moment, you turned back toward Verity, nervously stammering, "Umm, I was just surprised... that was, um, another you-that's all," trying to clarify the bewildering moment.
You say nervously that you pick up Verity," and besides, I wouldn't sit you for another version of you ". You say, trying to make Verity happy, Verity smiles brightly at your confirmation. Before Verity can say anything, you see a flash of yellow just hit Verity.
Now, you find yourself holding a different ball in your hand, glancing down at it with curiosity. This version of Verity is holding a delicate flower, its petals vibrant and freshly picked. Freaky Verity, with a mischievous glint in their eye, gives you a wink, the corner of their mouth curling upwards. You blink in surprise at this Verity before you can utter a word.
Suddenly, the freaky Verity is flung from your hand by your Verity, and they immediately engage in a tense confrontation. In the background, that Mob remains motionless, merely observing the chaos unfold. You rise slowly from the floor, your eyes fixed on the escalating fight between the two Verities, noting the tension crackling in the air.
You begin to ponder your current task, thinking, "I need to finish my armor, so I suppose I should go mining for some diamonds." With that determination, you decide to leave the chaos behind and focus on your goal. Grabbing your sturdy iron pickaxe, you stride towards the door.
You hope that ThatMob won't accidentally blow up the house while you're away. You make your way to the nearby mine shafts, winding through dark tunnels lit only by flickering torches.
After hours of careful mining, you finally gather enough diamonds to complete your armor set and craft new, sharper tools. Satisfied with your progress, you start heading back home through the dense forest, noticing that many parts of the house look charred and warped, as if they had been scorched by fire from the Nether.
Approaching the front door, you reach out and open it, only to be greeted by Verity standing patiently in front of the entrance. He wears his usual confident smile. Glancing around, you quickly realize the other version of Verity-along with ThatMob-is nowhere to be seen, leaving a faint sense of unease.
You look down at "Verity." You pick him up, holding him in your hand. "Where's ThatMob and the other Verity? " You ask in a questioning tone. "Verity" turns to you. "You got soft hands, makes me want to bounce real hard," he says with a straight face 👀. You were flabbergasted by what Verity said, and you burst out laughing.
"Ain't no way you just said that," you mutter, trying to stifle your laughter
. Freaky Verity looks at you. "If you can make them laugh and giggle, you can make that booty shake and jiggle ". You burst out laughing as you walk over to the furnace. You head to the crafting table beside it and take out your diamonds to finish your diamond armor. "Verity, can you play some music?" you ask.
Verity opens his mouth to respond, not expecting him to actually play anything. "His dick is smaller than my toes," Verity suddenly blurts out. You freeze, staring at the freaky Verity. "His dick is smaller than my toes," you quickly cover his mouth, "Not that kind of music-relaxing music, Verity, relax."
You hurriedly remove your hands from his face. Returning to what you were doing before, you hear someone say, "Can you do that again?" Swiveling your head to face Freaky Verity, you swear you saw his tongue sticking out. "What?" you query, as he slowly turns his head to face you. "I didn't say anything," he responds.
You blink at him slowly. "I swear I heard you say something," you insist. Verity cuts you off quickly, "No, I didn't say anything." Narrowing your eyes at him, you say, "Okay, whatever you say, Verity." Before you can resume your previous task, someone slams the door open, drawing your attention to ThatMob and Verity. Oddly, ThatMob appears to be on fire, while Verity looks like he's been in a fight.
You stare blankly, asking, "What the hell happened to you two?" ThatMob rushes over to you and freaky Verity. Before you can get a word in, he grabs Verity and throws him up in the air, then pulls out a bat.
You stare at ThatMob, puzzled, wondering where he pulled that bat from. Without warning, ThatMob swings the bat at freaky Verity, sending him flying through the door. You follow him outside and see freaky Verity getting hit again-this time by Verity with a bat.
Both ThatMob and Verity are swinging wildly, hitting Freaky Verity with the bat. Verity misses his chance, and Freaky Verity yells out, " I'm going to touch you, and it won't be soft ". He says while falling down the mountain and is struck by lightning.
You stand there, bewildered, trying to make sense of what just happened. Ignoring the chaos, you watch ThatMob and Verity high-five each other, finally getting along for once. Feeling drained, you head back to your bed and lie down, letting yourself drift away.
You wake up later, noticing it's nighttime. Glancing to your right, you see ThatMob fast asleep. Turning your head to your left, you spot Verity lying down as well. Deciding to go back to sleep, you miss Freaky Verity peeking through your window, his tongue lolling out and fogging up the glass.
