This means that the second a trans man/masc comes out to us, we kick him out of the treehouse because he’s a stinky nasty man who hates women!!!

“I am attractive and that gives me social power” is the idea I’m referring to when I say that I hate the modern concept of ‘female empowerment’. I’m actually not happy that conforming to societal standards of appearance gives benefits to women and this is sold back to them as somehow cheating the system

Pop feminism lost all its power when men were categorized as fundamentally misogynistic and not valuable recruits. There are a lot of misogynists out there who will only listen to other men on topics like feminism and as sad as it is that there is need for a translator, that translator can further feminism in places that women can’t (or can, but without much or any success)

Hypervisibility vs. hyperinvisibility discourse is stupid the more important conversation to be having is the one about how transness is framed as “attacking/perverting womanhood and femininity” in almost every single transphobic talking point

I forget where I heard this but it is absolutely true that a lot of people embody the traits that they despise in the opposite sex. And then go on to claim that it’s okay or even natural for their sex, because of the patriarchy
