HE HAD NEVER BEEN GOOD AT REMAINING CALM, ESPECIALLY NOT WHEN HE when his nerves were already frazzled and he was on the verge of going insane, but despite all of that, he managed to resist the urge to seriously harm the manâs brain when he started reciting a speech about how pitiful and whiny he is. That this was the reason why Sean had decided to end their relationship because he was far to emotional for him to handle and every word that pours out of his ugly mouth reminded him of his old man, so was it ANY WONDERthat his eyes were starting to transform from their white-gray colorization to a fiery orange then a deep shade of purple in rapid succession. He lets out a blood curdling screech of frustration and outstretches his hand to telekenitcally knock him into a wall.
âThat is what you get for ridiculingâ me, you ass, and you know who you remind me of: my old man Noah Delmont. He lectures me just like you do. Lectures on how terrible it is to be around people who are experiencing emotions. The only difference is that he would have listened and discovered something to divert my attention from the initial source of my stress.â  He barely glances at the spinning hat as he approaches the other manâs crumpled body and holds out a hand for him to take if he wishes to get back up. âYou can blame him for knocking you to the ground because he was the one who showed me how to make someone fly through the air, but if you think I am going to run into the portal your hat has created, you must have been born yesterday, as after all, who is to say I will not end up in danger once I step out of it? More importantly, why should I use it when I have my own teleportation abilities to rely on? â
Now, if Darius had been any other person perhaps the little telekinetic outburst would have sent Darius flying through the air and knocked into the wall but the thing was, Darius wasnât âany other personâ. The anger and fury had been evident in Lupinâs body language - the changing of color in his eyes had also been a dead giveaway that Lupin was about to react.
So Darius had been prepared. In that split second that he had been thrown, Dariusâs arms had come up to shield himself as his own telekinetic powers had scattered the bricks from the wall and the almost impact in all directions, creating a cloud of heavy dust and debris all around him. Surely it had appeared that Lupin had hurt him, but when the dust finally settled and the bricks fell to the ground, Darius was standing there, looking annoyed but unscathed as he huffed and dusted the debris and dirt off of his brown leather coat.
âWell, that was just rude ---â Mind you, Darius had been rather rude as well. He was sure if his sister was around she would have told him that he deserved the telekinetic blast and perhaps, for a moment, he would have agreed with her.Â
For the most part, Darius had seemed to not hear anything that Lupin had continued to say after he mentioned the name Noah Delmont. âDid you really just say Noah Delmont is your father? I know him. Well, I knew him. I havenât seen Noah in bloody years if it is the same guy--â
Darius had waved his hand with a flourish as he reached for his hat and put it back on his head. âI am not going to blame your father for anything. Although your little outburst was dramatic, he wasnât the one that attempted it. Still. My memories arenât what they used to be, wouldnât mind seeing him again ----â Dariusâs mind had started to wander, a certain smirk tugging at the corners of his lips before he shook the thoughts away.
âAnyway, I have things to do and I donât feel like getting into a battle of the telekinetic powers with you - whatever you have planned for Wonderland, it would be wise for you to just let it go. Destroying Wonderland and the inhabitants in it isnât as easy as you think -- and like I said, we werenât the ones that hurt you. If you want to get revenge, get it on the Little Hareâ.â
With that, Darius had turned on his heel and walked away - trying to get the thought of running into Noah again out of his head.
