MEGAN. first & foremost, i’d like it known that megan made finnick odair one of my favorite characters, whereas originally, i was no huge fan (i saw him as just a little bit above gale, who, as you all probably know, is an actual trash lord imho /shot). it’s only after her portrayal that i really got into him. & then there’s megan herself ; actual sweetest sweetie pie who deserves all the love tbh. xoxo always wanting all the threads & skype chats.

Opinion on:
CHARACTER IN GENERAL: i’m going to be honest. reading the books, i was never a huge fan of finnick. just never was! nothing against the guy, ofc, he wasn’t awful, but i felt that suzanne tried to push for us to like him (especially in mj) & i never really did. even when i joined the fandom & saw all the hype, i never got into him much. /shrugsHOW THEY PLAY THEM: o KAY, with all of this said —— megan, you made finnick one of my faves. i love everything you put into him to make him this rich, many layered character ; not that there aren’t layers in the series, ofc, but again, i felt that in the books suzanne tried really hard —— too hard, even —— to make it obvious that finnick is more than meets the eye. with you & your writing, it’s much more natural & really wonderful. also beetee / finnick brotp is on the list of Favorite Things tbqh.THE MUN: megan is an absolute sweetie pie?? she’s always there to send that nice message you need on a bad day or to lend an ear when you need it & is just a super nice person & a m a z i n g writer.
