In Australia, The New South Wales Government introduced a regulation to the Biodiversity Conservation Act that bans cetaceans breeding (which includes dolphins, whales, orcas and porpoises). Passed last week, the new laws will ban dolphin shows, as well as the breeding of whales and porpoises for commercial purposes. Cetaceans are intelligent, wild animals. They belong in the wild, not bred in captivity for entertainment. In their natural environment, cetaceans swim freely in 100 square kilometres of ocean, sometimes more, but the average cetacean in captivity has a space a fraction of that space! . thanks @man.vs.plastic #Repost @angryearth • • • • • • #angryearth #frantisekczanner #environment #eco #ecology #ecoprojectangryearth #earth #planetearth #illustration #saveearth #saveourplanet #savetheplanet #savetheearth #savetheworld #savetheanimals #saveouroceans (at Canada) https://www.instagram.com/p/CMzE31jn7Sp/?igshid=111ftbgvvlalc
