The Ghostface is used to hate at this point. Survivors hated how invasive he was when he conducted his field studies on them, killers hated when he crossed over into their territories for his investigations... But this? This barely constitutes as hate. It's just a bunch of thinly veiled compliments and it leaves Danny far more interested than if it was just the run of the mill disdain for his... Everything.
