It wasn’t often that Margaret found the time to sneak away from camp. She had responsibilities. It wouldn’t do to leave the 4077th under only the so-called command of Colonel Blake when those lunatics who dared to call themselves Captains were around.

Pierce and McIntyre, thankfully, had been given three days of R&R in Tokyo. Lord knew what debauchery they were getting up to there, but at least it was no longer her business.

What was her business was the picnic Frank had organized for just the two of them. He’d found a place on the other side of the minefield, where they wouldn’t be disturbed, and laid out a blanket, a bottle of wine, and real cheese and crackers under the stars.

I'm enjoying this simple monochrome, It's really helping me loosen up! I may be failing to keep the kink in kinktober but since my actual goal is to get quicker and looser, I don't really mind lol.
