"Why did I let you drag me here?"
Mystearica couldn't help but speak the question out loud as she entered a video arcade with Luke, both of their wallets prepped with enough quarters that they could probably afford to see a movie and get pizza instead. Although she tended to think that video games were a waste of time, "drag" wasn't entirely the correct term to use. She hadn't exactly protested when Luke had suggested the idea. She had said that anything he wanted to do was fine with her. Of course, upon seeing the multitude of games that filled the room, from pinball to guitar hero, Skeeball to DDR, and... Fruit Ninja?
They have that at arcades now?
The annoyance left Tear's face immediately upon scanning the prize shelves. It had been so long since she had visited an arcade, she had forgotten all about the prizes. The top shelves, the ones that required the most tickets, caught her attention. The top shelf was lined with stuffed animals. Some of them were cartoon characters or fantasy creatures, cats and dogs or horses and bears.
She wanted a bear. Badly.
