Friend i am looking into getting more and more into this girls frontline, but ive never played anything like it before, have any tips for a beginner?
Don’t blow all of you resources on construction. It’s tempting, but just take it easy, and good guns will come to you in time. Blowing up all of your resources just means you won’t have any to actually play the game with.
Don’t just focus on your higher rarity units, either, try to have more trained units. I suggest, however, pooling all of your resources and upgrade materials into one strong team: You want many strong units so you can field the latter Logistics and so you can ideally field more than one Echelon without having to rely on supports (to get Gold Medals more easily and such), but you still should have an A-Team, as I call it, a strong frontline tasked with the important things, like killing multiple units and Bosses.
Upgrade your units frequently. This is important, because level ups do NOT raise stats except HP, level ups raise stats’ caps.
Once you get there, 4-3 Emergency is Training Heaven.
This is personal preference, but prioritize upgrading your SMGs first. They are your tanks (dodge tanks), and for as long as they can hold out, so can the rest of your team.
Know each gun type’s role: AR are versatile, but their main task is DPS. SMGs are tanks, and you want them in the front. RF are very accurate, high octane DPS that have zero survivability, so keep ‘em safe behind other units. MG are semi-tanky with big HP and are for burst damage, they have a reload mechanic that makes them stop attacking for a bit after a couple of seconds. HG are dedicated support. SG are beeftanks, but don’t worry about them yet.
AR and SMG support each other, MG and SG support each other, RF support HG, and HG support everyone.
