A little glance into SM past (TW: implied self-harm, isolation?)

Some lore:

In this AU, SM appears inhuman from the very beginning. His body is unnaturally tall, thin, and angular. His hands are always cold from constant stress.

Small details make him even more unsettling: heterochromia, six fingers on each hand, and claw-like nails.

This isn’t the result of corruption, he has always been this way. Fount had the same traits, so his “otherness” is something he was born with, not something he became later.

SM tried to make himself less frightening. He filed down his nails, but it changed nothing. Eventually, he began pulling them out so they wouldn’t grow back as quickly. He hid his body under heavy robes and avoided touching others whenever possible.

But it didn’t help. Other cookies still felt uneasy around him, especially at first meeting. His appearance didn’t just spark curiosity, it triggered an almost instinctive fear.

Over time, he made a decision: to isolate himself in the Spire of Knowledge, not only to avoid questions, but also to keep others from feeling afraid in his presence.
