i kno the ‘haha aethers eat all the paper’ jokes are funny but i honestly dont interpret their lore to mean they eat just any paper, but rather that they just love research so much they go a step further and eat it. like it cant just be any paper, it has to be like a book written on a topic they love to learn more about and they just get so excited they consume it, literally
