I'm doing something like a sexy fireman calendar, but it's sexy drawings  of TV FBI Agents.  The reason I’m interested in this is that even though these FBI shows  aren't sexy, their fanbase is thirsty as hell. And since most of those  fans are femme, sexy illustrations of these characters can be a really  interesting window into what femmes find sexy.

Returning to Criminal Minds, our Foxy Feds are Agent Derek Morgan and Technical Analyst/Internet Queen Penelope Garcia, played with delightful chemistry by Shemar Moore and Kirsten Vangness. The challenge with Morgan was that he's ALWAYS a beefcake. A pinup version of him seemed redundant. But one of my favorite things about him is his relentlessly flirtatious friendship with Garcia. This illustration references one of Morgan's more naked moments, coming out of Garcia's shower. I once had a debate with someone over whether or not there was such a thing as a "friendly junk grab." While it's certainly a rare thing, I maintain that there are some friendships in which such a thing is possible. These friends, who call each other Babygirl and Chocolate Thunder, would know what I mean.

Of course I started with the first special agent to rule my heart, Fox Mulder. Here he is, with nothing more than his impassioned beliefs. I made sure to show him in his natural element; high contrast lighting with shadows that show *just* enough to keep the audience interested.

Foxy Fed of the day is Dana Scully ❤ I want to write something smart about her, and Gillian Anderson's amazing portrayal of her, but every time I try I just sigh a little cloud of cartoon hearts. I fell in love with The X-Files when it started. Since I was 11 at the time, it became my all time greatest TV obsession. I actually wrote a letter to Gillian Anderson telling her how cool she was and how much I loved the show. Included was a (much less racy) drawing of her that I'd done. I sent it before the show became wildly popular so she actually wrote me back. That letter is one of my most prized possessions.
