           “I don’t need to tell you that students are not supposed to be out of bed at this hour.” She was not an easy going professor, but she was a little more lenient than say Mr. Filtch who would jump on the chance to find any sort of punishment for a student breaking any sort of rule. “You want to give a good reason, or should I just hand you a detention now?”

Gladion and Theodore were at the first-ever magical art museum that Luna Lovegood had opened, having decided that art was her calling. The building was magnificent the art inside breathtakingly beautiful. It made him feel this must have been the wonder that muggle-borns had felt when they were first introduced to magic.

Having sat down on a blue and golden ottoman, his boyfriend soon followed sitting next to him. He opened his mouth to speak but the words died in his throat as Theodore had wrapped his hand around his bringing it up to his lips and pressing a kiss to his knuckles. 

Flushed Gladion smiled softly chuckling as he felt Theodore’s lips curl into a smile of his own before lowering his hand. 

Viktor hates being in front of people. He hates talking to people, he hates being around them, he hates them looking at him. He shifts uncomfortably, exhaling and looking like he’s sulking as he stands in the corner. He glances at Theodore when he comes close to him. Might as well save him the effort, right? He looks down at his feet before he shakes his head. “I am not made for interacting with people.”

Puzzled Gladion raised a brow, glancing from Theodore to said closet. His wand was already in hand having been wary due to the tone in his friend’s voice. With what little information he was given he had a feeling it may have just been a boggart. No matter the age or how much time passed everyone hated boggarts even if they were easily cowed.

Is this the first time Blaise hasn’t just picked at a plate of food this school term? Quite possibly; with all the commotion Umbridge has been throwing around recently, with all the noise Malfoy and his hangers-on have been making, it’s made Blaise lose his appetite. Sitting here with Theo, though, he finds that he’s actually quite hungry, the peace and quiet making him wish they could stay here - in this specific moment - for quite a while longer. 

“Thank you for eating with me.” These are rare words; Blaise usually demands to be left alone, especially when he eats. “Have you tried whatever the pasta thing is? It’s good.”

Gladion was resting on the bed, propped up by pillows with a book in hand, legs crossed, Theadore leaning against him. Looking up from his book he took note that his leather jacket was hanging on the back of Theo’s door, his combat boots thrown next to Theo’s own shoes. The laundry basket full of dirty clothes even had a mixture of his and Theo’s clothes. Merlin, even his wand was lying next to Theo’s own on the bedside table!

The realization hit him like a kick in the chest from an offended hippogriff.

“Ah.....”

He was living with Theodore, someone who he trusted undoubtedly, someone who had stayed by his side throughout the war. He hadn’t even been in Aether manor since July. Somehow someway he moved in, even after he told him he wouldn’t wish to bother him.

🍷 : Would they manipulate someone to get what they want?

Now that entirely depends on the person who would be subjected to the manipulation. Friends? No. The closest thing you’ll get is when Gladion metals in their life to make sure they’re taking care of themselves or somehow up their quality of life. 

Example: let’s say his friend was Ron- and Ron wasn’t doing too hot. Has trouble sleeping, looks sickly but refuses to get help. Gladion would just pull some strings to get the school into doing a yearly check-up of sorts with Madam Pomfrey thus having Ron being forced to get help by another person.

Another example would be if a friend of Gladion’s and this other person who Gladion believes would make a fine friend for his friend (since everyone needs a stable team of people to fall back on knowing you can’t put all your emotional baggage into one or two people) he’d just- creates a way for the two to meet. Like maybe in one class the professor suddenly wants seating arrangements and- oh my look at that these two just happen to be seated next to each other! What are the odds? My god, now I’m just thinking of the matchmaker from Fiddler on the roof!  

Now strangers or- people Gladion personally loathes and all-around enemies? Yes. Yes, he would manipulate the shit out of them to get what he wants and pushes buttons to get certain reactions from them that will benefit himself. 

Another example for this: I headcanon that Gladion and Draco play chess together constantly in the Slytherin common room. People who are unobservant might think that they are friends. 

This is far from the case.
