MARK RUFFALO
Mark Ruffalo is an American actor. He was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin, USA and is of Italian and Canadian ancestry. He competed in wrestling in school and went on to play a wrestler in the movie, Foxcatcher (2014).
Ruffalo moved to Virginia and then to Los Angeles to act in the theatre which led to him acting on screen. Today he lives in New York. In 2023, he prevented an historic building, the West Park Presbyterian Church (1880s) from being demolished.

Max Frye and Dan Futterman).

Currently rewatching this film. It has such an edginess and uneasiness throughout, from the get go. Even in the saturation of the way itβs shot β the mood suggests something bad is going to happen. Despite there being a strong premise from the start β that this athlete is being commissioned and encouraged by a wealthy man β that things seem positive β there remains this lingering notion of doubt, that the plan is a bit patchy. Youβre not quite sure whatβs happening. Steve Carrel and Channing Tatum and Mark Ruffalo are all brilliant in it. Thatβs quite the casting feat. They work really well for each of their characters.
