The first fix devil headcanons were really nice. So nice that I'd like to ask how she would react to overhearing her boyfriend about possibly making contracts with other devils.
Fox Devil overhears you making a contract with another Devil
A/n: Since a lot of people seemed to like my last post about Fox Devil, and I actually ended up getting quite a few requests for her, I figured I'd try writing for her again. Thank you for requesting, and I hope you enjoy!

Despite her territorial nature, the thought of you making contracts with other devils had never bothered Fox. However, this isn't because she's self-confident enough to understand that even if you do have other contracts, you'll always remain loyal to her in your relationship. Rather, she's simply so vain and conceited, both in her abilities and her beauty, that the thought of you making other contracts never even crossed her mind.
That is, at least, until today.
One of the few downsides to Fox's new human form was that Makima required her to join Public Safety, under the guise of it being for her own protection in case any police officers questioned her on her unusual appearance. While Fox would usually outright refuse such a request, or question who has the nerve to ask something like that of her, not even she has a big enough ego to go against Makima.
And so, after hours of tireless work with her assigned partner, which was mostly just her eating devils, but it was a lot of effort to her, she returned to Public Safety Headquarters, hoping to walk home with you (and maybe talk you into giving her head scritchies to reward her for her hard work). However, when she got there, she discovered you were nowhere to be seen.
After some asking around, she learns that you headed down to one of Public Security's devil prisons and haven't come back yet. With a sigh, Fox makes her way past security and heads down the elevator to meet you. While she constantly reminds herself that you would never make a contract with another devil, that she's the only one you need, a small part of her hopes that, at the very least, you aren't dealing with a devil more dangerous than you can handle.
The elevator hits the bottom floor with a buzz, and Fox steps off. She wanders the halls, both walls lined with cells. She quickly glances into each room, checking for your presence before moving onto the next. Just as she's growing impatient with her search, she hears a voice boom nearby, one that she recognises all too well.
"C'mon, c'mon, you came here to make a contract, right? Then, hurry up already and let's get this party started!"
She rushes over to the source of the noise to confirm her fears. Her own boyfriend, standing before the Storm Devil. A tall, dark blue creature with bright, yellow eyes shaped like streaks of lightning. A pair of coils spring from the devil's head like antennae, electricity surging between them. Every syllable it speaks cracks like thunder crashing into the ground, which often kept her up during her nights in the wild.
"It would seem I chose a fool to be my partner."
Both you and Storm turn to look at Fox as soon as she enters. You're more shocked by your girlfriend's sudden appearance, while the devil's eyes widen and brighten, clearly much more excited.
"Fox! Glad you could join us! Things were getting boring with just the two of us!"
"Then, they'll be even more boring with just the one of you."
Fox gracefully walks over to you, pinching your ear and dragging you by it to the cell door, all while ignoring your cries of pain.
"Aw, c'mon, don't be like that! The party's just getting started!"
She stops and turns towards Storm with a stern look.
"No, I'm afraid it just finished."
She exits the cell with you very close behind. Once you're out, she finally lets go of your ear. While you rub the red spot she left behind, Fox turns around to face you.
"Now, I believe some head pats are in order."
"Y-You want head pats for doing that? Look, Fox, I understand you get jealous easily and all, but-"
"You think I dragged you out of there out of jealousy?"
Her devil eyes appear on her face and her hair. You start to consider taking back what you just said.
"What you don't seem to understand is just how much that contract would have cost you. The Storm Devil is one known for making costly deals with Devil Hunters. Its power may be great, but the price to pay for that power is always far greater. If you truly believe that my power is not good enough...that I am not good enough, I would at least advise you to make a wiser choice next time."
Fox's devil eyes disappear as she looks down, saddened a little by the thought that you don't think she's enough for you, only to look back up at you when she feels your hand on her shoulder.
"Fox, I wasn't going to make another contract because you aren't good enough for me. I was only going to do it because... I didn't want to waste your time by summoning you every time I need to handle a devil."
"Yeah, I figured it must be pretty annoying, having so many Devil Hunters constantly calling on your power for every little problem. So, I decided I'd make a contract with another devil to help lighten your load."
Fox seems taken off guard by your words. You gaze into her eyes with a smile...only to wince in pain when she pulls on your ear again.
"It seems my boyfriend truly is a fool."
"W-What're you talking about?"
"You do not require a contract to use my power. Have you never stopped to wonder why that is?"
You want to answer, but you're too scared to get it wrong and get yet another ear pulling from her.
"It is because I enjoy spending time with you, it's because I'm happy to do things for you, it's because...I love you."
Even if her expression hasn't changed, you can tell just from the look in her eyes that she means every word. You smile at her once more, gently patting her on the head.
She gives you a small smile in return for your words and affection.
"Now, let us head home so that you may pamper me some more."
"Yeah, I think you've earned it today...for once."
Her devil eyes reappear and glare at you once more.
