{ So while @fourtune does not participate in the god Au, Shi did give me permission to tie her clover with my James, considering how closely they are connected in our canon. As such, the following headcanon are my ideas for Clover’s relationship with the God the Courage & Self-Sacrifice }
{ The Father of Courage & His Champion }
Clover is a soldier that worships The Grand General. Through his talents and respect, he has caught the favor of this god.
James has gifted him with several boons during his life, to help carry him and his legion to victory.
At some point, Clover is killed during a battle. He is fighting for something he believes in.
As opposed to letting his soul go to the underworld, James speaks with Ozpin. And Oz allows Clover to join them in the realm of the gods.
Clover becomes his right hand, considering his lack of one, and acts as a messenger & general aid to The Father of Courage.
Clover does eventually become a minor diety of luck & courage, though he always stays close to James.
