I'm fine with the puzzle, but it took me an embarrassingly long time to figure out how to cycle through the characters. Â I kept opening it up and immediately submitting it.
You must have a hell of a lot of patience. Once it went on a 5x5 grid with fucking tetris bullshit I went straight to the internet

i love sudoku
Please come over and solve this robot bullshit for me please
mystery-moose replied to your post: âNo BioWare, sudoku is NOT an adequate replacement for towers of...â
I'm not sure why they thought we wanted to do that three times on every planet.
And then try to kill me whether I get it wrong or right
JUST SO YOU KNOW BIOWARE, THE BUDDHISTS DID NOT INVENT THESE PUZZLES TO KILL PEOPLE JUST FYI
shadoedseptmbr replied to your post: âRyder is⌠really, really fucking youngâ
I feel like they're  walking around "are you my mommy"  it's a little distracting
I do feel oddly protective though, itâs like watching newly minted students down for their first bender on Fresherâs Week
mystery-moose replied to your post: âRyder is⌠really, really fucking youngâ
It's consistent characterization, at least!
It is, unlike with Shepard it looks like the devs had a clear idea of what Ryder was. Shepard in comparison was in retrospect, a blank slate  Â
sinvraal replied to your post: âRyder is⌠really, really fucking youngâ
Lol yup. It's sort of endearing in some ways. At least it's a clean break from Shepard...
interstellarperformance replied to your post: âRyder is⌠really, really fucking youngâ
Right?! I feel like people should adopt me.
I do get that âIâm actually screaming insideâ vibe off Ryder. On reflection, Andromeda is the most millennial game Iâve ever played
30 and 40 for the ME meme!
30. Something you disliked about ME/ME2/ME3?Â
ME1: Inventory management. The accumulation of piles of weapons, armor, and ammo that were hard to tell apart and often not as good as what you were carrying, requiring you to sort and sell that stuff every time you finished a mission. That got real old real fast.
ME2: The lack of scope and outdoor environments. In ME2 you basically fight your way through a series of boxes. Sometimes theyâre fun boxes, but I missed the landscapes and exploration in the first game. I also disliked the Hammerhead a lot, so what exploration there was didnât work for me as well.
ME3: Aside from the ending, the linearity of the game bugs me. It doesnât quite run on rails, but there are not always a lot of options for what order to do missions in, which makes the playing experience less varied for me.
40. Do you already know how your Ryderwill look like? Describe them or share fanart.Â
I do not! I tend not to plan charactersâ appearance in advance, aside maybe from some very vague parameters. I need to sort this out by actually playing around in the character creator. Iâm vaguely thinking short dark hair, but we shall see!
Last non-Bioware game you played and did you like it?
The last non-Bioware game that I played was Skyrim, which is pretty much my space-out game. It doesnât have the same plot-based urgency as the Bioware games do, so if I want to spend three weeks in Whiterun leveling up my Smithing skill because thatâs where my brain is at, I can!Â
I love open-world games like that, so Iâm tempted to buy the remastered version for PS4!Â

đŁ (the bomb, in case it doesn't show)
đŁ: ship that pisses you off
I donât generally have very strong negative feelings about ships, and my general approach to fandom is to ship and let ship.
That being said, Jack/Miranda pisses me off.
Iâd like to make it clear that my ship-and-let-ship philosophy still stands, and I certainly donât want to say that anyone shouldnât ship it. For me, however, I find their relationship toxic and vicious, and Iâd rather keep them in separate penalty boxes. Hateshipping just doesnât do it for me, and thatâs certainly a matter of personal preference.
That being said, Interpretations by @todisturbtheuniverseâ is an excellent fic that works them into a relationship that I think is beautifully complex and sympathetic and that captures both of their voices really well. 10/10 do recommend.
DA:O Fic: Red and Black
The lovely @fourth-age is having a giveaway, and one of the ways to enter is to write a drabble of precisely 100 words. So. Hereâs mine.
Red and Black
#
The tower is full. The tower is empty. The tower is falling.
He cannot breathe.
âFoul and corrupt are theyâ
Blood seeps into the floor. So many bodies. He cannot look away from them. Hem of a robe, spreading blood like a paintbrush, red and black, red and black.
Cannot breathe.
âWho have taken His giftâ
âYou are just a boy, arenât you?â
Demon hands and demon kisses and demon whispers, whispers, whispers.
Cannot.
âAnd turned it against His childrenâ
In the purple light of his prison, he screams and screams and screams, wasting the breath he does not have.
