Daniel lived a very pampered life before he was marked. Being a child and teen model supplied most of the house’s income, so his parents always tended to spoil him. As an only child, he never had many friends because he wasn’t good at getting along with others. The day he was marked, he felt like his life was over. Vampyres and those fledglings were freaks. Now he was one of them. Tabloids exploded all over the place, and he ended up having to leave his home state to come here because of paparazzi flooding his new school. Now that he’s at the House of Night, he couldn’t be more of an outcast. He rarely talks to anybody, and especially hates the Dark Daughters and Sons. He has a black cat that followed him onto the plane over here that he named Jasper. He also has such a close connection with cats, sometimes he feels he can read their minds, know exactly what they want, interpret what a certain noises means. He's also gay.
