Parenting Rite of Passage: The First Ballet “Recital.”** ++ One thing I really respect about my kid is that when she discovers something she’s really into, she goes IN with LASER FOCUS. Planets. Peppa Pig. The board game Trouble. And ballet. We were so proud to watch her show off all that she’s learned. And OBVIOUSLY, she was mad cute doing it. ** Because at the end of the day, it’s really a bunch of 3-5yos run amok, waving at their parents in the audience, bouncing into each other, and only occasionally plié-ing as instructed. ++ You shoulda seen the tap class. #Fourtastic

At 9.59a, four years ago, the doctor pulled you out of my belly and you promptly pooped in her hand.
