GGOD SO REAL AUUUGHH... hes soo autism and needs his routine so if his boyfriends aren't all in bed by a certain time he gets more and more antsy and jumpy and paranoid,, he gets to the point where he just cant be human about it anymore and hes sitting next to them and whimpering and whining with his big wet eyes, practically begging them to come to bed (and once hes fed up theres no whining, only nipping at their heels and slobbering all over their hands hauling them off to bed)
once everyones in bed, or at least in the same room, he calms down. because then he can watch over everyone, keep them safe. just because hes herding them to bed doesn't mean hes sleeping, someone has to keep watch after all! its not like any of them can force him to sleep, what are they gonna do, pile on him? (spoiler alert they do)

Ranking the hornet boys from best to worst when it comes to thinks like self care and hygiene + explanations
Alex- he does not like feeling dirty or messy. He showers and shaves and cleans himself often. He owns skin care products. He has nice shampoo and conditioner and body wash. He likes nice soaps. He takes care of his hair even if he doesnt always get good hair cuts. This all stops under the operators influence or during depressive episodes.
Tim- although his mental health can make it hard, tim takes good care of himself. He has some good products for his facial hair, gets very good at taking care if his beard and skin. Keeps his hair thick and glossy. The only time he doesnt do this is when he spends a few days lost in the woods or after a bad seizure.
Brian- hes a little more sloppy than the other two. He has seprate shampoo conditioner and body washes, but he doesnt care as much for things like skin care. He has face scrubs for things like acne, and stuff for his mustache, but thats it. When he is the hooded man, this all stops as he lives in a filthy shed.
Jay- he is a CREATURE. He has short hair and so he doesnt condition it much, opting more for just shampooing it once a week when it feels greasy. Hes a little grub who lives in the soil. Doesnt remember to take care of himself very well. He gets better about it when he starts living with his boyfriend(s) whenever that happens.

When it comes down to it, there is no reason for any single character in marble hornets to feel kindly towards Alex Kralie or even come close to forgiving him. He was not bad at the start, but that’s how corruption works. Alex is not the same MAN he was at the start. The Operator was to Alex what Alex became for everyone else. And so really, any sensible person would wish him the worst and tell him to go to hell before giving him the time of day after what he put them through. Unfortunately, no one in marble hornets is sensible. Jay is simultaneously too afraid to trust anyone and also the most trusting of all of them. Tim would do anything to find a sense of normality and companionship. Jessica is lost and alone and confused scared, and needs answers so badly that she’ll stick with the first competent looking person she finds and stay loyal to them for as long as possible. Brian has a bone weary exhaustion that came with giving himself the role of protecting from a distance, and even though he will never be able to cut himself off from the others, he’ll never let himself get too close either. And Alex is a broken, empty, husk of who he was at the beginning of Summer 2006, not the same man he was then nor who he was for the past several years. A metamorphosis that occurs every time the operator loosens its grip on him. When that grip goes loose enough for him to escape, he’ll find the least sensible people he can, and because they’re so broken and empty themselves, they’ll let him start making things up to them, one day at a time.

9. Tim does not believe in ghosts, Brian is open to the idea but on the fence, Alex and Jay both do but will immediately argue with the other about it as a joke.
10. Jay is the biggest memer, Alex prefers making jokes in the moment with high brow intelligent comedy, Brian likes to send memes that specifically remind him of the others so he can tease them with it, Tim likes facebook cat memes.
11. Tim’s typing is almost indecipherable at times due to the amount of typos, Brian uses lots of acronyms and shortcuts, Alex types well but in all lowercase and with frequent emoticon usage (cooler version of emojis), Jay has perfect grammar but in all lowercase and its slowly deviating as he cares less and less about his english degree.
12. Tim and Jay HATE airplanes, Tim because he worries about them breaking and Jay because the height makes him get extremely airsick. Brian and Alex are fine on planes. Jay always has to have the aisle seat, and Tim usually needs a middle one so that he can feel safe in between two people.
13. They would have the dumbest weirdest matching profiles you can imagine and it would annoy Alex so much because he wants to look cool but his aesthetic cool ones always get outvotes by some ugly horrible meme one that the others like.

Ooooo this is such a cute concept. Tim with blue is nice but i just lovee him with like maroon red. Brian i could see doing black for sure, jay would definitely look cute with some swampy hair fhdj and ofc alex being scene asf with rainbow fringe
