Okay that makes more sense reading about it than hearing about it.
Something to note: During the explanation of how time flowed, the narration used an example of an ant being relocated into the world that exists after the reset. Just before we see Emporio relocated after defeating Pucci, we see an ant.
It seems like Pucci's powers remixed the earth instead of reset it. We see that Jolyne and Anasui have different names but found each other. They're also drawn to Emporio and the person Hermès became as if even with different paths in this universe, it wants to reform certain connections.
Of course I can’t be sure until I read parts 7 and 8, but if this is a remix, it could explain how a Zeppeli, Brando, and Joestar end up in the same place at the same time and so forth. As for Jojos surviving into the new universe, they likely all did although under different names and possibly without Stands.
It’s interesting. It’ll take more thought and reflection. It’s equally possible that the world parts 1 - 6 became is unrelated to the world parts 7 and 8 take place in. There’s enough evidence/lack of evidence to swing either way at this point.

True. I cant wait
I feel like a lot of what I’m looking forward to seeing from the anime are the more grotesque bits of Vento Aureo.
Nami and Chopper tell Zoro which way to go. He goes the wrong way and disappears because he gets lost easily.
I am Zoro
When I started watching the Skypiea arc I couldn't figure out why I had no memory of it even though I know I read it. I'm kind of understanding now. I don't know why it's losing me but it is. I think part of the problem is I can't care about the Skypiea residents for some reason. I'm not really sure why since in other arcs I have no problem caring about the locals

I know it's likely author and/or editor error, but I think my personal headcanon for how Jotaro can be born in Jan/Feb 1970 (according to an artbook), SC can take place in the span of a few months that start in 1987, and yet in DIU claim SC is 10 years ago and Jotaro is only 28 but also contradicts itself by telling us Josuke got sick when he was four, which would have been 1987, is that if you use The World repeatedly in rapid succession it causes a time distortion. Since Holly and Josuke have the star birthmark and are connected to Dio and the others, everyone near them was also affected by the distortion and so some tiny pockets around the globe just skipped 1988 entirely.
Either that or we jumped into an alternate universe that was almost exactly the same as the SC universe except 1 year off and Josuke's illness happened a year before Holly's instead of simultaneously as implied.
This guy...just...dude, your kid has problems. I know you're being defensive for a reason but no. You're wrong. This is a problem.
