Found Instruments - You're Not Alone
“You’re Not Alone” is the latest composition by Found Instruments, a solo recording project of singer-songwriter Jack Joseph Titcombe, known for his work with Learn to Surf and Jack Joseph Band. Speaking of Einsturzende Neubauten, one of my favorite things is looking at the instruments for each track. These are all from 2007's Alles Weder Offen and one of the funniest is Drums [Big] used on several tracks. Other [Jet Turbine, Blue Bin] from "Nagorny Karabach", Other [Amplified Metal Bass Spring] from several tracks, and Wind [Plastic Pipe] are all great examples of improvised instruments. Drilled metal, iron plate, and draggled metal bars are some of the most out there instruments used.
And it's not weird per se, just very specific: the Organ [16th Century Church] from "Nagorny Karabach".
